Our History

As a teacher for years, I saw a need for quality tutoring, including homework help, at reasonable rates.

Oftentimes, parents would ask me for referrals for tutoring services at parent-teacher conferences. I didn't have an answer for them.

Most parents, whether they were good at math in school or not, do not remember the concepts their children are learning in math, especially Algebra and beyond. And most tutoring services use their own curriculum, rather than helping students with their homework.

I believe in getting students successful in the classroom. When they feel more confident about what's happening at school, the door is opened to make significant gains in their skill sets.

I saw a need and I embarked on a quest to meet it. I started Math Magicians with one client in my home. In three short years, we have grown to over 500 clients! It has truly been the best teaching job I've ever had. I can't wait to see what lies ahead.
